Our students from Class IX got appreciation prize in Science Investigatory project(AAVP held at VKV Nalbari for all the schools of Assam and Nagaland).Name of Participants:Diya Sarkar,Ramesh Kumawat and Bilee Rani WaryName of the project:Investigation on wireless power transmission.Out of 44 final participants and 3 rounds at Nalbari our students came out as best 6 groups with appeciation prize.

THE FELICITATION PROGRAMME OF CLASS X BATCH 2023-2024

The eighth day of June witnessed the felicitation ceremony of the students who has passed class X CBSE Board Examination Session 2023-2024..The felicitation ceremony was graced by the presence of our Headmaster. As Chief Guest Upendra Muchuhary Chairman Kajalgaon Municipality Board, Sri Narbeswar Brahma Secretary Vidyalaya Management Committe Kajalgaon and Agarwal Yuva Parishad. The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp as a tribute to Maa Saraswati the goddess of knowledge.

A fire extinguisher is a handheld active fire protection device usually filled with a dry or wet chemical used to extinguish or control small fires, often in emergencies. It is not intended for use on an out-of-control fire, such as one which has reached the ceiling, endangers the user (i.e., no escape route, smoke, explosion hazard, etc.), or otherwise requires the equipment, personnel, resources or expertise of a fire brigade. Typically, a fire extinguisher consists of a hand-held cylindrical pressure vessel containing an agent that can be discharged to extinguish a fire. Fire extinguishers manufactured with non-cylindrical pressure vessels also exist but are less common.

How To Use a Fire Extinguisher

It's easy to remember how to use a fire extinguisher if you can remember the acronym PASS, which stands for Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep.




Pull the pin.
This will allow you to discharge the extinguisher.





Aim at the base of the fire.
If you aim at the flames (which is frequently the temptation), the extinguishing agent will fly right through and do no good. You want to hit the fuel.





Squeeze the top handle or lever.
This depresses a button that releases the pressurized extinguishing agent in the extinguisher.





Sweep from side to side
until the fire is completely out. Start using the extinguisher from a safe distance away, then move forward. Once the fire is out, keep an eye on the area in case it re-ignites.

As per the instruction received from the director of Education , BTC, Kokrajhar to reschedule the school timing as follows  wef... 2024  untill further order due to continuous rise of mercury level or prevailing scorching heat.

Therefore VKV Kajalgaon is sharing the new school timetable which will be effect from tomorrow ( 27.5.24 ).

Result of Bloom School Olympiads 2023-2024

 MATRI PUJA 2024

Matri Puja was observed on 2024 by our school .It started at 4:30 p.m after school. All the students along with their parents were present. The students washed the feet of their mothers.

Then after the programme proceeded with managalacharan, followed by a welcome speech by Principal Sir, After performing the rituals of Matri puja,some of the students and also their parents shared their experience .Then the programme ended with shantipath.
